Zurich-Based MFO Appoints Ex-Credit Suisse Bankers

Portelet Family Office, the Zurich-based multi-family office which is part of Portelet Group, has appointed three former Credit Suisse private bankers as partners.
At the beginning of this month, the trio – consisting of Juksel Gabriel, Markus Dal-Pont and Michel Voëlin – took up responsibility for managing day-to-day operations including wealth management, strategic asset allocation and wealth structuring.
Portelet Family Office was launched about a year ago by Remo Maurer and Sandor Pasqualetti, two former senior Credit Suisse private bankers.
The firm’s new partners, who all have strong relationships in the Middle Eastern markets, acquired a significant stake in the firm through a capital increase, the family office said.
The trio has widespread experience in the banking and financial industry, including private banking, corporate banking, asset management and entrepreneur services as well as executive services in various countries.
“These new partners significantly add to the diversity of our management team and complete our international expertise - thus supporting our growth plans,” said Maurer.
Voëlin said that “the fact that we provide tailor-made solutions that are independent and free from conflicts of interest has been a strong motivation for me to join this multi-family office.”
Portelet Group, which was founded in 1998, operates out of Zurich, Mumbai and Singapore.
