City Financial’s online fund research and consultancy service, The Adviser Centre, has endorsed Aviva Investors' multi-strategy target return fund.

UK-based Aviva Investors' multi-strategy target return fund has won “Positive Watch” status from The Adviser Centre, City Financial’s online fund research and consultancy service.

The asset manager's multi-strategy range was launched in July last year and has over £1.1 billion ($1.6 billion) of assets.

The multi-strategy target return fund invests in a globally diversified multi-strategy portfolio and targets a 5 per cent annual return above the Bank of England base rate over any rolling three-year period.

“We see increasing demand for multi-asset, risk diversified products and the Aviva Investors Multi-Strategy Target Return is a welcome addition to this limited cohort of funds in the IA Targeted Absolute Return sector,” said Gill Hutchison, head of investment research at City Financial, the London-based fund manager that launched The Adviser Centre last year.

As of the end of 2014, Aviva Investors managed £246 billion of assets.
