Barclays Wealth Appoints Ex-RBS Manager To Lead UHNW Group For UK, EMEA

Barclays Wealth has appointed former Royal Bank of Scotland manager, Ruth Davis, as director of client management, for the ultra high net worth market in UK & Ireland and Europe, Middle East and Africa, the UK-based firm said today.

This new role will be based in London, Barclays Wealth said. Ms Davis will report to Paul Ford, chief operating officer, UHNW EMEA.

Ms Davis joins from Royal Bank of Scotland, where she was a programme manager in the global banking & markets division. In her most recent roles, she managed change for the global syndicate and loan origination divisions. Prior to that, Ms Davis was a management consultant at Accenture specialising in business transformation for investment and corporate and retail banks.

“The UHNW market is an important target growth area for Barclays Wealth, which can capitalise on Barclays Capital and Barclays Corporate. This segment of business is primarily focused on: family offices business owners and private individuals,” Mr Ford said.
