Barclays Wealth Creates New Global Client Services Role, Names Head

Barclays Wealth has hired Anne Grim as a managing director to be head of global client services. This is a new role, created to spearhead the firm’s stated strategy of putting the client and client needs at the heart of its business. She will report to Barclays Wealth's chief operating officer Andrew Tinney.
Grim will be responsible for delivering “client service excellence at every point of contact and across all delivery channels of the organisation,” the firm said. Day-to-day, she will take control of all contact centre operations and service recovery teams and work closely with all private bankers, investment representatives and relationship managers “to achieve distinction through the levels of service experienced by the firm’s clients.”
“This is a ground-breaking appointment for Barclays Wealth; one that sends a signal – both internally and to the marketplace – about our absolute resolve to achieving a step-change in client experience in wealth management,” said Tinney.
Grim joins from Wells Fargo Financial, where she was executive vice president and divisional marketing, ebusiness and strategic partnership leader. Before that, she held senior positions at American Express and Mastercard International.
