BNY Mellon Wealth Management Makes Appointments In Northeast, West Coast

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has made a number of senior management appointments on the west and east coasts, the firm said yesterday.

The bank has hired Jay Tejera as a senior director of portfolio management for the Pacific Northwest. Tejera, who has 26 years of wealth management experience, reports to Nancy Pellegrino, president of the Pacific Northwest region.  

Prior to joining BNY Mellon. Tejera was a senior regional investment manager for Wells Fargo Bank in Seattle, after having served four years as director of research at Ragen McKenzie, which Wells Fargo acquired in 2000.

The bank has also hired Brant McGettrick, Judith Rowland and Craig Slater to join its business development team for the greater Boston region. The three employees, all of them vice presidents, will report to Bob Nadherny, managing director for sales in the Boston area.

McGettrick was previously vice president for client management at Calibre Advisory Services in Waltham, Mass.

Prior to that he was director of financial and estate planning at Boston-based North American Management Corp.  McGettrick is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Rowland served as vice president and relationship manager with the wealth management unit of Wachovia Bank and previously with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Services.

Slater previous served as managing partner at Archway Private Client Group, a firm he co-founded in 2006.
