Mackie joins the London-based managed portfolio service team at Brooks Macdonald Asset Management from Vestra Wealth, where he was an investment manager, responsible for a range of model portfolios.

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management said growing demand from professional advisors for outsourced investment solutions had prompted the hire, as part of a continued focus on the MPS range of model portfolios.
“Our MPS proposition is in a phase of tremendous growth driven by demand from the professional advisor market and Jim’s experience in this arena will prove invaluable in the evolution of this service,” said Andrew Shepherd, joint managing director of the asset management arm.
