Brooks Macdonald Strikes Deal With IFA

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management has formed a strategic alliance with South East IFA firm Petrus Financial Services.

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management has formed a strategic alliance with South East IFA firm Petrus Financial Services.

Brooks Macdonald said in a statement that the alliance will enable Petrus clients to access its bespoke and managed portfolio services, which can both be held in ISAs, onshore and offshore bonds, self-invested personal pensions, small self-administered pension schemes and individual trusts.

The bespoke portfolio, which is managed by regional director John Wallace, is designed for private clients who require an individual investment portfolio constructed and fine-tuned to reflect their investment objectives, the firm said.

The managed portfolio service will be run by the London team and provides clients with a choice of five actively managed portfolios.

BMAM will manage both of these services on a discretionary basis with responsibility for the suitability of the portfolio being retained by Petrus.

“The investment management services that we are providing are designed to cover a wide range of investment objectives and risk profiles. Petrus have a thorough financial advisory process that feeds into our robust investment process and provides clients with a first rate wealth management solution,” said Andrew Shepard, joint managing director.
