Brooks Macdonald Teams Up With IFA

The asset management division of London-listed Brooks Macdonald has struck an alliance with an East Midlands-based independent financial advisory firm.

The UK's Brooks Macdonald Asset Management has entered into a strategic alliance with Lincolnshire-based Castlegate Financial Management.

The alliance will allow Castlegate’s clients to access BMAM’s investment capabilities, including its 80-plus strong investment team.

“Access to Brooks Macdonald’s track record and investment process and governance will establish these new services we are able to provide to our clients. In forming this strategic alliance, we have established a combined investment and advisory proposition that truly sets us apart from the competition,” said Castlegate's managing director, Peter Townsend.

BMAM provides discretionary management services for private clients, trusts, charities, pension funds and corporates. The Brooks Macdonald group managed funds totalling £7.82 billion ($11.2 billion) as of the end of 2015.
