Close Brothers AM Investment Chief To Leave, Firm Restructures

Curtin is leaving to pursue new opportunities, the firm said.
The chief investment officer at Close
Brothers Asset Management, Nancy Curtin, is leaving the firm
after a decade in the post to seek new challenges, the UK firm
confirmed yesterday.
CBAM has decided to change its structure after discussions with
Curtin. The changes will enable internal promotions and the
arrival of outside talent, it said. As a result, it will create
three new leadership roles, reporting directly to CBAM chief
executive Martin Andrew.
The firm said it will adopt this new structure "straightaway to
enable the internal promotions to assume their new roles
seamlessly and to enable the business to maintain its
momentum."
Curtin will help wth the transition in the next few weeks, it
said.
A speaker at several WealthBriefing events, Curtin is, as this publication can attest, a forceful and articulate figure in the UK's wealth management industry. And, of course, she has helped to push forward the cause of women in the highest reaches of European wealth management.
