New Office
deVere Group To Enter Austria Next Month, Plots Recruitment Drive
The firm has said it plans to take on 10 consultants and their support staff as part of the expansion.
Financial services giant deVere Group will open
its first office in Austria next month, and plans to take on at
least 10 new staff in the next 12 to 18 months.
The firm will set up shop in Vienna on 1 September, the next step
in its “ambitious expansion” across Western Europe, deVere Group
said in a statement.
David Mihelic, with support from James Stratford, will head up
the office. Both are consultants. They will report to Colin
Eldridge, head of deVere Italia.
“We are really excited about the potential and opportunity that
the Austrian market represents,” Eldridge said. “We intend to
take on 10 consultants, and their support staff, within the next
12-18 months to meet the expected demand. We will be looking to
recruit for the Vienna office both from within the wider deVere
Group and also interviewing external talent too.”
