Deutsche Bank is appointing Hans Kraus, the current head of its personal banking operations in its Private and Business Clients division, to run its recently acquired Norisbank unit, according to an unconfirmed report in Financial Times Deutschland. Deutsche aims to triple Norisbank's current customer level of 334,000 to over 1 million by 2010. Deutsche Bank purchased Norisbank's 98 branches in August for around €420 million. Norisbank employs around 1,200 people.
