Deutsche Subsidiary Expands Research Team

BHF-Bank, the Frankfurt-based private banking subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, has expanded its research team with multiple hires, WealthBriefing can confirm.
The firm has hired Maxim Tilev as an analyst to its research team covering small- and mid-sized companies, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed to this publication. Prior to the appointment, Tilev worked at Commerzbank in the small- and mid-caps team.
Roger Hirst has also joined the bank as a senior consultant in the research department. He has previously worked at Dresdner Bank, Bear Stearns and Main First Bank.
Thomas Kastner, formerly head of block trading at Dresdner Bank, has also joined the firm as a senior trader. Earlier in his career Kastner worked at Commerzbank.
In other developments, earlier this month Thomas Eckert was made responsible for equity research at BHF-Bank.
The bank plans to increase the size of the team to around 15 people and intends to become a “top” institution in the German mid- and small-caps space.
