Equity Trust is acquiring Ernst & Young’s domiciliation business and related corporate secretarial services in Luxembourg with immediate effect. Raymond Schadeck, chief executive of Ernst & Young Luxembourg said: “This transaction is driven primarily by Ernst & Young’s realignment to core services, - audit, risk advisory and tax services. In choosing Equity Trust as the buyer, Ernst & Young has secured a specialist trust, fiduciary and corporate administrator and a major player in the Luxembourg and international markets.” Equity Trust is an independent trust and fiduciary services group supporting high net worth individuals, corporations and intermediaries globally. It has around 900 staff around the world.
