A headhunter previously based in Singapore has headed westward to Gibraltar, to begin a new business, this publication can reveal.

Nick Hughes, a headhunter who has worked in Singapore in the wealth and financial services industry, has relocated to Gibraltar to found a recruitment start-up, Eulat Consulting.

The business focuses on wealth management, insurance, financial technology, family offices and independent asset management.

"Having spent considerable time researching the perfect base, Gibraltar is perfect as a central hub to recruit effectively for our clients in Europe, Latin America and Asia,” Hughes told this news service in an exclusive interview.

Hughes has worked in financial markets recruitment for 17 years.

“We have also formed partnerships with headhunters in the Middle East, Australia and the Caribbean to provide an effective global presence for our clients. As a statement of intent, Eulat Consulting has this week relocated to offices in the prestigious and newly-opened Gibraltar World Trade Center,” he continued.

“They aim to provide a professional, ethical and long-term offering for our clients, through the full recruitment cycle. Backed up by an experienced research team, Eulat is looking to partner with financial services firms who are looking to develop and expand through strategic hiring,” he added.
