First Republic Bank, a private banking and wealth management division of Bank of America, has hired Linda Cheresh as a relationship manager.

Ms Cheresh joins First Republic from Wells Fargo where she was most recently vice president of its private client division.

In her new Santa Barbara-based role, Ms Cheresh will provide private banking, private business banking, investment management, trust services and real estate lending to high net worth individuals, families and businesses.

“Linda Cheresh is an outstanding addition to our expanding team in the Santa Barbara office,” said Katherine August-deWilde, president and chief operating officer of First Republic Bank.

As well as its Santa Barbara location, First Republic Bank has offices throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Palm Desert and San Diego County.
