New York-listed First Republic Bank has appointed Joubin Rahimi as a relationship manager in San Diego, California.

Rahimi latterly worked for Comerica Bank in San Diego as a private banker, prior to which he held positions at Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank.

In his new role he will work with individuals, families, businesses and foundations to provide banking, investment management, trust, brokerage and real estate lending services.

“First Republic continues to expand in San Diego to meet the demand for both banking and wealth management services,” said Katherine August-deWilde, the firm’s president and chief operating officer.

As part of a series of hires, First Republic added Derrick Yee as a relationship manager at its Palo Alto, California office earlier this month.
