First Republic Reinforces Boston Presence With Another Office

San Francisco’s First Republic Bank has opened a third office in Boston, MA, as part of a “broader expansion” in this region.

The expansion includes new offices, in addition to a “significant number” of bankers, portfolio managers, wealth managers and foreign exchange professionals, the firm said.

The new office, located at One Post Office Square, will provide lending, deposit and wealth management services to individuals, businesses, foundations and non-profits.

First Republic is also bolstering its team of Boston business bankers, who work closely with its offices in San Francisco, CA, Silicon Valley, CA, New York and Los Angeles, CA, so as to meet the needs of venture capital, private equity, non-profits and professional services firms.

In other recent developments at the bank, last week Philip Hayes was appointed as deputy head of the firm’s trust unit, along with Alistair Christopher, who joined as vice president and senior trust officer, based in Boston.

First Republic’s main offices are located in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, San Diego, CA, as well as Portland, OR, Boston, MA, Greenwich, CT, and New York City.
