Former Credit Suisse Senior Manager Returns To Lead UHNW Team For Northern, Eastern Europe

The Zurich-listed lender has brought back one of its most senior figures in the UHNW arm of the business from a European rival.
Former senior Credit Suisse manager Karsten Le Blanc is rejoining the Swiss bank as head of its London-based ultra high net worth team for the Northern and Eastern Europe market area, this publication has learned.
Le Blanc will report directly to Babak Dastmaltschi and with a local reporting line to Philip Harris. In his new role, he succeeds Andy Wigman who led the team on an interim basis.
The move means Le Blanc rejoins Switzerland’s second-largest bank from Deutsche Bank, where he worked in the EMEA key client partners business.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in June 2013, Le Blanc spent over 20 years at Credit Suisse, most recently heading parts of the UHNW individual team for the Russia/Eastern Europe/Greece/Central Asia market area.
In his two decades with the bank, Le Blanc worked in a number of senior positions including in the solution partners team, where he was head of European and Swiss coverage and origination, and within the investment banking division, where he served in both the fixed income and equities businesses.
