Fullerton CEO Steps Down

Fullerton Fund Management chief executive Gerard Lee has resigned, Reuters reports.

"While we are saddened to lose Gerard... we will continue to build on this strong foundation," Victor Liew, chairman of the company, was quoted as having said.

Lee is reportedly moving to Lion Global Investors, but the Singapore firm had declined to comment on the matter. Its previous CEO, Daniel Chan, had left in July this year. Lion is a subsidiary of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp and boasts of around S$29.4 billion ($22.41 billion) in total assets under management.

Lee's former role will be occupied by deputy CEO Choy Peng Wah in the interim.
