Geller & Company Names Family Office Unit CIO

New York’s Geller & Company, the financial advisory firm, has appointed Robert Wedeking as chief investment officer of the firm’s family office and wealth advisory business, Geller Family Office Services.

Wedeking joins the 50-strong GFOS leadership team to “help guide its strategic direction,” the firm said.

Previously, Wedeking worked at Caxton Associates, where he spent over 21 years as a portfolio manager for the $1.1 billion multi-strategy fund of funds, Caxton Select, as well as director of alternative investments, responsible for creating customized portfolios across all asset classes.

At Caxton Select, Wedeking held responsibility for tactical asset allocation decisions for taxable and non-taxable clients, as well as for due diligence throughout the portfolio. He also helped raise capital from high net worth families, endowments and institutional investors.

Geller Family Office Services is a registered investment advisor, with $5 billion in assets under advisement and $1 billion in assets under management.
