Global Asset Manager Creates Boston/London-Based Emerging Market Debt Team

Babson Capital Management, the global asset management firm, has brought in Ricardo Adrogue and Brigitte Posch to lead the firm’s new emerging market debt investment team, based in Boston, MA, and London, respectively.
Adrogue joins from Cabezon Investment Group, where he was an emerging market fixed income portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was lead portfolio manager for several emerging market debt strategies at Wellington Asset Management.
Posch joins Babson Capital from PIMCO, where she was executive vice president and head of emerging market corporates.
In their new roles, Adrogue will head the team and oversee portfolio management activities for sovereign and local currency strategies, while Posch heads up portfolio management activities for all emerging market corporate debt strategies.
The team will report to Russ Morrison, managing director and head of global fixed income for Babson Capital.
Babson Capital Management has over $182 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2013.
The firm is based in Boston, MA, Springfield, MA, and Charlotte, NC, with offices in New York City, Chicago, IL, and Los Angeles.
