A global consulting firm has made a senior appointment to its UK investment team.

Mercer has hired Ashlin Noonan as a senior investment consultant in Woking.

Noonan joins from Cartwrights where she developed and launched an investment consulting service. She is a qualified actuary and has over 12 years’ investment consulting and pensions experience, having held roles at KPMG, Towers Watson and Novare Actuaries & Consultants.

In her new role, Noonan will be responsible for advising clients on investment strategy, manager structure, manager selection and performance monitoring.

“Ashlin is an excellent addition to the strong advisory consulting team based in Woking and will help strengthen existing business and grow our client base both in Woking and across the UK,” said Mercer’s UK head of investments, Steven Blackie.
