Gottex Fund Management Sarl, the wholly-owned investment arm of global alternatives firm Gottex Fund Management, has partnered with a New Zealand-based investment firm to create a new fund.

Gottex SR Funds, the product of the joint venture between Gottex and Staples Rodway Asset Management, offers multi-asset products to NZ investors looking for diversified international exposure. Leading as managing director is Guy Holroyd, who also heads the existing SRF International Capital Growth Fund (established in 2011).

In a statement, Gottex Asia chief executive Max Gottschalk said that the move is part of efforts to expand in the Asia-Pacific and New Zealand areas. Staples Rodway offers taxation, asset and wealth management, business advisory and audit and assurance services from its offices in six areas in New Zealand.
