Hargreaves Hale Drives Regional Expansion With Brewin Dolphin Duo

Hargreaves Hale has hired Richard Larner and Paul Pearce to run its new office in Norwich.

UK-based investment manager Hargreaves Hale has hired Brewin Dolphin's Richard Larner and Paul Pearce to spearhead its new office in Norwich.

The pair join as investment managers following Brewin Dolphin's consolidation of its Norwich and Ipswich offices last month.

Larner, who headed Brewin Dolphin's Norwich office, will lead the branch, which is set to open in August. In Pearce's previous role, he was responsible for managing portfolios for individuals, trusts, pensions, charities and companies.

The firm has been busy driving growth across the country, most recently with a relocation in Worcester

“The Norwich office is another step forward in our regional expansion strategy, and something we believe investors in the region will respond to positively, particularly at a time when some providers are scaling back their service offering,” said Hargreave Hale's joint managing director, Stuart Brookes, in a statement.

Hargreaves Hale said it would make further hires as the business develops. The firm currently operates from eight offices across the UK and manages over £4 billion (around $6 billion) in assets.
