HSBC Private Bank in Geneva has hired Farhad Asari to develop the offshore Iranian market, according to sources close to the bank. Mr Asari will report to Pierre Pissaloux, head of Middle East and North Africa for HSBC Private Bank in Geneva. WealthBriefing was not able to confirm yesterday where Mr Asari had joined from. Mr Pissaloux, who joined HSBC from Union Bancaire Privée earlier this year, where he was head of private banking, has been given a mandate to build up the Middle East team at HSBC and is understood to be looking to hire additional members of staff.
