Isle of Man TIEAs With China, Japan Take Effect
The Isle of Man has announced that its tax information exchange agreements with China and Japan will enter into force on 14 August and 1 September 2011, respectively.
The TIEA between the Isle of Man and China was concluded on 26 October 2010 and ratified by the former on 18 January 2011. The agreement between the island and Japan was concluded on 21 June this year.
The agreements aim to bring tax relations between the regions into line with the OECD standard.
