Jersey-based Nautilus Trust Company has acquired New World Trustees (Jersey), which Nautilus said forms part of its growth strategy and follows various acquisitions in the jurisdiction over the past decade.

The acquisition, the cost of which was not disclosed, will see the company added 13 people to its team, bringing the number of employees to 65. 

Nautilus was incorporated in 1999. It specialises in setting up and running trusts and companies, and offers financial solutions to assist with wealth management.

New World Trustees was incorporated in 1983.
