Lehman Brothers Expands in Switzerland

Lehman Brothers, the US investment bank, has expanded its business in Switzerland by opening a new office in Geneva in addition to its existing office in Zurich. The office will be located at 50 Rue du Rhône and will focus on servicing the needs of clients in the French speaking part of Switzerland through the expansion of its capital markets offering. Heinz Schmid, chief executive of Lehman Brothers in Switzerland said: “We are delighted to have a presence in Geneva to complement our existing presence in Zurich, through which we offer the full capabilities of the firm to our clients.” Lehman Brothers has been represented in Switzerland since 1931.
