Lloyds TSB Private Banking Hires Five In Switzerland, US

Lloyds TSB Private Banking, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, has made five appointments to its offices in Geneva, Zurich and Miami, aiming to strengthen its global private banking and wealth management business.
Urs Emmenegger has joined the Geneva operations as strategic development director to lead a series of transformation initiatives across the business. He was latterly at UBS as managing director leading the Nordic countries and UK business teams.
In Zurich, Markus Winzenried and Daniel Steiner have joined the private bank’s operation from Arab Bank and RBS Coutts respectively. Winzenried joins as head of Saudi Arabia and Egypt while Steiner is to be a senior relationship manager.
Lastly, Morean and Armando Gonzalez have been appointed in Miami as head of strategy and development for Latin America, and as senior relationship manager, respectively.
Morean joins from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he was regional director for Latin America, while Gonzalez was most recently vice president and senior international advisor for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Meanwhile, yesterday WealthBriefing reported that five private bankers from Lloyds TSB Private Bank have moved to Barclays Wealth, where they will join the firm’s international private banking division in Geneva, as part of plans to strengthen its offerings for the EMEA region.
Mike Ferguson joins as a managing director, while Sylvie Orsatti, Sana Al-Habal, Philippe Sala and Fawziyah Khazal join as private banker, director.
