M&I Wealth Management Creates Senior Trust Role For Central States

M&I Wealth Management, part of BMO Financial Group, has promoted Donald Edinger - formerly trust services manager in Kansas City - to regional director of trust for the central states region.

In his newly-created role, Edinger will manage the trust offices in the Kansas City, Indianapolis and St Louis markets. He will be responsible for providing technical expertise to the trust and estate services teams, as well as oversight of personal trust administration.

He has over 30 years of industry experience and has been with M&I for the past seven years. In addition to his management responsibilities, Edinger is a member of the firm’s individual retirement trust compliance committee.

Last month the firm promoted Michelle McAfoos to regional director of private banking for the central states region. Specifically, McAfoos will oversee the operations, business development and client relationships of three private banking teams in the Kansas City and St Louis, MO, and Indianapolis, IN, markets.

M&I’s offering for high net worth individuals and families includes financial planning, investment management and advisory services, trust and estate services, and private banking.
