Major New Private Banking, Family Office Database Launched

A major new global online database for the wealth management industry has been announced and will be available at the end of April. Highworth’s International Wealth Management Industry Database provides authoritative and comprehensive information on over 2,800 private banks and over 1,000 multi and single family offices. According to the publisher, each institution is identified from the largest multinational wealth management corporations through to small private banks in offshore tax havens, and from the wealth management divisions of large retail banks through to discreetly run private investment offices serving ultra high net worth families. Highworth says that the database’s coverage of multi-family and single-family offices representing in excess of 70 per cent of the estimated assets under management of the family office sector. The research, which is presented in a standardised structure, was conducted by a multilingual team of analysts. Financial reporting is usually in the native currency and all data has been submitted to the relevant institution for verification. The data provided includes the identification of the institution and its contact details, parent company, subsidiaries, major additional offices, profile of its wealth management business, staff numbers, management names and job titles, wealth management services offered, number of clients, minimum net worth required for mass affluent, high net worth, and ultra high net worth clients, fees levied, summary financial accounts for past two years, value of assets under management, and regulatory authority. Indexes classify wealth managers by type of wealth management institution, by country, by type of service provided; by executive/employer affiliation. The reports come in three parts - Europe Middle East and Africa, The Americas and Asia Pacific. Each is available separately for £450 or it can be purchased as a whole set for £1,100. An exclusive pre-publication discount of 10 per cent on list price is available through WealthBriefing.
