Melissa Rosenbaum jumps to Denver fund company from Fiserv's ISS division. Icon Advisers has named former Fiserv executive Melissa Rosenbaum as its new v.p. of marketing. She'll direct the valuation-based asset manager's marketing strategy and manage communication programs for its mutual-fund allocation portfolios and separately managed account products.

Rosenbaum replaces Bridget Richards, who resigned her role as marketing v.p., but remains with ICON as a financial writer.

Aid to intermediaries

"We expect Melissa's specialized experience in managing marketing programs in the investment marketplace will help further develop our business," says Icon's chief sales and marketing officer Steve Holmes.

Rosenbaum spent 12 years at Fiserv, where she was director of the Brookfield, Wisc.-based company's Investment Support Services unit. She has also worked as a public-relations consultant to a range of clients including the American Dental Association, Guess Jeans and the state of Wyoming.

At Icon, Rosenbaum will lead the company's campaign to provide "targeted" marketing and communication initiatives for the broker-dealers, independent RIAs and institutional clients that sell its investment products.
