Mercer Sentinel Bulks Up Asia-Pacific Team With Five Appointments

Mercer Sentinel, the investment consulting arm of Mercer Investments, has expanded its Asia-Pacific team wth five new members.
Sally Corbett, Christopher St Amand, Robert Dixon, Ashika Narayan and George Takesian are now part of the Asia-Pacific team. Corbett will head up Sentinel's transition management services, with Dixon within her team. St Amand takes care of operational risk assessments, while Takesian plays a key role in transactional services, including foreign exchange benchmarking and fee reviews. Narayan joins the custody and unit pricing team in Sydney.
The team specialisation is not a reorganisation of the way the team operates, but more a "formalisation" of the way Mercer does business, the company said in a statement. As part of this initiative, Mercer Sentinel will soon be opening an office in Singapore, with Craig Plane relocating from the Hong Kong branch to co-head the unit.
Mercer Sentinel covers a range of consulting areas, including custody, fund administration, prime and standard brokerage, transitions, transaction execution and related costs, securities lending and operational risk assessments. Its five operating centres are in Chicago, Hong Kong, London, Singapore and Sydney.
