Morgan Stanley Hires Advisors From UBS, Wells Fargo In Florida

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management confirmed that it has recruited advisors in Plantation, FL, and Miami, FL, from Wells Fargo and UBS respectively.
In Plantation, Ricardo Kent joins from Wells Fargo and reports to branch manager Giovanni Renteria and complex manager Billy Van Scoyoc.
Kent has a T-12 production of about $1 million and oversaw $100 million in assets at his former firm.
Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley has added former UBS advisors Arturo Castelo Lopez, Jennifer Sierra and Marion Tettke at its office in Miami.
The trio have a combined T-12 production of $3.5 million and previously oversaw $375 million in assets. They report to complex manager Kevin McCarty.
As reported yesterday, Morgan Stanley's head of wealth and asset management, Greg Fleming, this week told attendees at the annual Reuters Global Wealth Management summit that his firm intends to splash $500 million on technology by the middle of next year, alongside three other business strategies, all of which will encourage growth through spending.
