New CEO Named At Hermes

London-headquartered Hermes Fund Managers has confirmed Saker Nusseibeh as chief executive, a role he has held on an interim basis since November.

Nusseibeh initially joined Hermes in June 2009 as a main board director and head of investment. His appointment is effective immediately and he will remain as head of investment, according to a statement.

Nusseibeh also launched Hermes' investment office, which is responsible for safeguarding “investment excellence.” The investment office team will now take on increased day-to-day responsibility, while continuing to report to Nusseibeh.

Hermes said it has now completed a four-year “major investment programme,” instigated to build the “right” investment and operational infrastructure.
