New York-based Signature Bank has appointed seven new private banking teams - all of whom join from Capital One Bank - adding 19 private bankers to its headcount and bringing the total number of teams hired this year to nine.
The first of these teams will be led by group director James Buck; he is joined by Janet Reale, associate group director, along with senior client associates Veronica Ali, Anesha Baig, Rosaura Fernandez and Jessica Sesack.
Nicole Rospond, group director, is joined by Bibi Akeel, senior client associate. Meanwhile, group director Brian Hallinan will be joined by senior client associate Jonathan Gangadeen.
Also taking up group director roles are Margaret Coppola and Richard Murasso. Respectively, they are joined by senior client associates Bruno Muteba and Mireille Mathurin.
The sixth team appointed by Signature Bank comprises James Handal, group director, Johnadam Haridopolos, associate group director, and Sharon Englebert, senior client associate.
Finally, Kevin Hardiman joins Signature Bank as a group director, along with Erin Romain, senior client associate.
“We continue to identify experienced banking teams to join our franchise as we look toward further expanding our growing private client banking network. Clearly, we continue to execute on our business model by attracting and retaining bankers with extensive experience who can meet the needs of clients by providing them with a single point of contact,” said Joseph DePaolo, president and chief executive officer of Signature Bank.
Signature Bank will be establishing its first private client banking office on the west side of midtown Manhattan to accommodate several of these new teams in the coming months. At present the bank has a network of 22 private client offices located across the New York metropolitan area.
