Pioneer Makes Senior Sales Hire In Switzerland, A Second Addition Soon To Follow

Pioneer Investments has hired former Julius Baer employee Isabelle Spitz as senior sales manager in Switzerland.

Pioneer Investments has hired former Julius Baer employee Isabelle Spitz as senior sales manager in Switzerland.

Based in Zurich - and reporting to country head Rainer Lenzin - Isabelle's role will focus on banks, independent asset managers and family offices.

“Switzerland is strategic for Pioneer Investments and the inflows seen in the last three years have been the evidence of the clients’ recognition of the quality of our product range,” said Fabien Madar, head of Northern and Western Europe. "We plan to further reinforce the team in the next few months with the hiring of a senior institutional sales manager.”

Prior to Julius Baer, she held positions as sales manager for Credit Suisse Asset Management and product manager for PAX Swiss Life Insurance Company.

In February, Pioneer launched two new liquid alternative strategies through Luxembourg-domiciled funds in European jurisdictions and through US domestic mutual funds in the US.

Pioneer’s global investment centres are in Boston, Dublin and London. Globally, the firm has over 2,000 staff, 340 of which are investment professionals.
