Professional Services Firm Praxis Appoints MD To Fiduciaries Business In Switzerland

Praxis Group, the professional services firm with $15 billion of client assets, has appointed Rupert Pleasant as managing director of Praxis Fiduciaries (Switzerland).
Praxis Group, the professional services firm with $15 billion of client assets, has appointed Rupert Pleasant as managing director of Praxis Fiduciaries (Switzerland).
In his new role, Pleasant will continue to focus on developing the Swiss market for the group along with establishing and managing relationships with key partners in the UK, the Middle East and Africa, the firm said in a statement.
Pleasant has taken over the role of managing director from Fritha Beck who has stepped down in order to spend more time with her family. Beck remains with the company as a director and will retain responsibility for the group’s fiduciary operations in Geneva.
With more than 20 years experience in the finance industry, Pleasant joined Praxis Group in January 2012 and formerly held the role of executive director at the firm.
Formed in 1983, Praxis Group has offices in Geneva, Guernsey, Luxembourg and Malta, and business development representatives in Dubai and Cape Town.
"Praxis" is a Greek word meaning the process by which a theory, lesson, or skill is enacted, practiced, embodied, or realised.
