Richardson GMP Names Montreal Director, Branch Manager

Richardson GMP, the Canadian wealth management firm, has appointed Luc Papineau as director for wealth management and branch manager.
Papineau was most recently a vice president for Eastern Canada at Dundee Securities. In his new role he will be working closely with Jean-Pierre Janson, managing director for national wealth management. Richardson GMP said it is focused on growing its Canadian market base, particularly in Quebec, over the next three years.
The appointment follows on from the recent hire of four new advisors to its Montreal wealth team, including Marc Dalpe, Jean-Marc Milette, Guylaine Raby and Luc Lortie. Richardson GMP currently has some C$14 billion (around $13.8 billion) in assets under management, with over 45 per cent of its advisory network composed of portfolio managers with practices averaging C$120 million in assets under administration.
