St James's Place Reorganises, Adds To Fund Range

The UK wealth management firm St James’s Place has announced a number of changes to its fund range following a review process, including the launch of a UK & International Income Fund. This brings the total number of funds run by the firm to 32, managed by 25 external managers.
The new fund will be managed by Adrian Frost (lead manager) and Adrian Gosden of Artemis Investment Management, investing primarily in UK equities, although it can also hold fixed interest and overseas equities. The duo’s prior experience includes managing the Artemis Income and Artemis High Income funds.
Responsibility for the management of the St James’s Place Equity Income Unit Trust will remain with Nick Purves and Ian Lance, who moved from Schroder Investment Management to RWC Partners earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Nick Kirrage and Kevin Murphy at Schroder will assume responsibility for the UK element of the SJP/Schroder Managed funds and the Managed Growth Unit Trust, taking over from Purves in this respect.
In other changes, Artisan Partners, a Milwaukee, US-based firm, will manage the St James’s Place Global Managed funds and Global Unit Trust, effective 18 October. Artisan’s Dan O’Keefe and David Samra will take over the management of £1.2 billion (around $1.8 billion) in global equity fund assets.
