Summary Of Global Wealth Management Executive Moves – September 2022

September was a busy month for moves and hires in countries such as the UK, where, for example, the firm rebranded as Evelyn Partners made a number of senior moves. Swiss and German firms were also prominent in the mix.
M&G appointed Andrea Rossi as its next chief executive and
executive director. Rossi succeeded John Foley who retired after
being in the role for seven years. He will remain at the
business in an advisory capacity until the end of 2022.
Geneva-based independent asset manager The Forum Finance Group
appointed Hippolyte de Weck as CEO. He started in October and
took over from Etienne Gounod, who stepped down from the
executive committee to become chairman of the board of
directors.
De Weck joined Forum Finance as a managing partner in 2011. Prior
to that, he worked within the UBS Group for 17 years in
various capacities covering bond issuance, risk management and
private wealth management in Frankfurt, Zurich and Geneva.
HSBC Retirement Services appointed Joanne Holden as head of
governance to lead the governance structures and processes
of its Master Trust. Holden spent the past seven years leading
the governance of HSBC’s global pension risk exposures for its
employee pension plans across multiple markets, including Hong
Kong, the US and, most recently, the UK.
Arbuthnot Latham, a private and commercial bank, appointed Lee
Jones as director of intermediary sales to support its
expansion of its discretionary fund management service. Most
recently, he worked at abrdn and Scottish Widows as a business
development manager focused on intermediary sales in the South of
England.
UK wealth manager Evelyn Partners appointed Jonathan Badcoe as an
investment manager. Bardcoe has managed money on behalf of
private clients, corporate mandates and charity accounts in the
City of London for the last 15 years, at firms such as Investec
and JP Morgan.
Evelyn Partners appointed Paul Morris as a director of financial
planning in its financial services team in Bristol. Morris is a
Chartered Wealth Manager with 25 years’ experience in the
industry, both internationally and in the UK. His career has
involved a period as a client director at wealth management firm
Brown Shipley, as well as spells with HSBC Private Bank and
Barclays Wealth in Jersey.
Henry Wickham was appointed as head of Ogier's global estate
planning, wills and probate team, providing a
multi-jurisdictional and multi-service offering to local and
international clients. Wickham also continued to provide broader
private wealth services to include advising on all aspects of
Jersey trusts, foundations and related corporate issues and
providing notarial services. He is a Jersey Advocate, a notary
public, a former chair of the STEP Jersey Branch, and a lead
editor of the STEP Directory Jersey overview.
Evelyn Partners appointed Sam Whatsize as a financial planner in
the firm’s Nottingham office, as part of its expansion in the
East Midlands. He joined from Brown Shipley where he worked as a
financial advisor in the firm’s Nottingham office.
Evelyn Partners recruited a team from chartered financial
planning firm Scholes & Brown to join its Newcastle office.
Scholes & Brown directors Philip Brown and Bradley Thompson,
along with four other staff bringing financial planning and
administration experience, became part of Evelyn Partners’
Newcastle office, which is headed up by managing partner David
Smith.
Pictet appointed Victor Aerni – who is head of its wealth
business in the German-speaking part of Switzerland – as the CEO
for its wealth arm in Asia. The appointment was slated to take
effect from 1 July 2023. Tee Fong Seng, who leads Pictet Wealth
Management Asia, remains on the board of directors of Bank Pictet
& Cie (Asia) Ltd (BPCAL), Pictet Group’s Singapore banking
entity, as vice-chairman of the board, reporting to François
Pictet, managing partner of the Pictet Group and chairman of the
board.
Aerni is an equity partner of the Pictet Group and has been the zone head responsible for German-speaking Switzerland since April 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Aerni was with the Boston Consulting Group for 16 years. A 30-year private banking industry veteran, Tee Fong Seng has led the wealth management business of Pictet in Asia since July 2019.
Evelyn Yeo, head of Asia investments, was appointed deputy CEO, BPCAL to support Sharon Chou (head of South Asia and CEO BPCAL). This appointment is subject to regulatory approval. Based in Singapore, Yeo also continues as head of Asia investments. She has more than 20 years of industry experience in leadership covering investment office, mandate consulting and sales management with Julius Baer and UBS, before joining Pictet in 2019.
Evelyn Partners, the UK wealth manager, appointed Paul Fidoe as
business development director. Fidoe,who works from Evelyn
Partners’ Bristol and Birmingham offices, joined from Barclays.
In total, he has 33 years’ wealth management experience.
Evelyn Partners appointed Sarah Crowley as a financial planning
director to bolster its new Birmingham office. Crowley joined
from Brighton-based financial advisory firm IEP Financial where
she worked as an independent financial advisor for the past four
years.
Decisive Capital Management, which is based in Geneva, appointed
Diane Gudin and Fabrice d’Erm as senior partners and senior
relationship managers. Gudin, who is based in
Geneva, previously worked at Bank J Safra Sarasin in
Switzerland and Singapore and Bank Julius Baer in
Singapore. D’Erm, based in Zurich, served in senior
management positions for several major international firms,
namely UBS and Bank J Safra Sarasin in Switzerland, Paris and
London.
Offshore law and professional services firm Ogier appointed Dasha
Kuts as a senior manager, working from Dublin in its sustainable
investment consulting team. Kuts has more than 15 years’
experience in impact investing.
Union Bancaire Privée appointed Sergio Trigo Paz as chief
investment officer and head of emerging market fixed income and
named Soledad Rocio Acoroni as portfolio manager.
Based in London, Paz leads a team of nine investment
professionals based in Zurich, London and Hong Kong. Until March
this year, he was head of emerging market debt at BlackRock where
he spent 10 years. Acoroni, who joined the UBP team in Zurich,
was previously at Larrain Vial AM in Chile.
Sergio Trigo Paz took over from Thomas Christiansen as head of EM
fixed income at UBP. His position as CIO for emerging markets is
a newly-created role.
ABN AMRO appointed Carsten Bittner as its chief innovation and
technology officer and a member of its executive board for four
years. Before joining Commerzbank, where he is the CTO, Bittner
held various management positions at international media and
services group Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA and Accenture.
LGT Wealth Management, the UK business that is part of
Liechtenstein-based LGT, appointed three senior wealth management
professionals to join its Scotland office. Henry Peterkin
joined as wealth manager, James McFarlane joined as investment
manager and Jennifer Watson came on board as business development
director.
Knight Frank Investment Management made three senior hires. Ian
Wilson was appointed as a partner to grow KFIM’s residential
investment management business. It also named Xaviere
Roudeix-Crouan as head of research and forecasting, and Chantal
Beaudoin as head of ESG.
Pacific Asset Management appointed Jonno Ross as associate
director in the UK wholesale distribution team, based in London.
He reports into Nick Lemis, head of UK Wholesale Distribution.
Ross, who brings more than seven years of experience to his new
role, was previously at Waverton Investment Management where he
worked with institutional and wholesale investors across the UK,
Europe and offshore markets.
Rothschild & Co appointed Fernanda Neumann Rosset as a managing
director and head of client strategy in its UK wealth management
business. She joined from Goldman Sachs, where she has spent the
last 14 years.
Julius Baer appointed Nick Blaydes, a senior figure at Ernst &
Young, as new deputy chief financial officer. Blaydes was head of
financial services, corporate finance, in Switzerland at EY.
Based in Zurich, Blaydes brings 25 years of industry
experience.
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management appointed Benjamin Rousseau
as portfolio manager for European small and mid-cap equities, to
strengthen its investment capacities. Rousseau joined the equity
team in September, reporting to Caroline Gauthier and
Jacques-Aurélien Marcireau, co-heads of equity management. He is
based in Paris.
Fidelity International, an investment management services
provider, appointed Dr Ilga Haubelt as head of equities, Europe.
Haubelt is based in London. Prior to this, she worked at Newton
Investment Management.
Lincoln Private Investment Office, based in central London,
appointed former Barclays senior figure Tom Braithwaite as a
partner and advisor. He has over 15 years of wealth management
experience.
Bank Syz appointed former Pictet figure Philippe Turrian as head
of client solutions, marketing and communication. Turrian, who
holds a CFA and an MBA from INSEAD, began his career as a
consultant with McKinsey & Company in Geneva before joining
Pictet in 2010 as project manager. In 2015, he was appointed head
of client solutions and marketing and in 2018 chief operating
officer of the Pictet Wealth Management division, where he was a
member of the executive board.
Impax Environmental Markets, the UK-listed investment trust,
appointed Glen Suarez as an independent non-executive
director.
Suarez, who has held executive and non-executive positions, is
executive chairman of the board of Knight Vinke Asset Management,
where he was previously chairman of the audit committee. He is a
senior advisor to FMAP Limited, a consultancy founded by Lord
Maude which advises governments on the implementation of public
sector reform.
Nuveen, a global investment manager, appointed Nick ap Simon as
managing director in its Private Credit Specialist team, based in
London. He brings just under 20 years’ experience in
institutional sales and investor relations to the role. He joined
from Cross Ocean Partners, where he most recently worked as head
of EMEA Marketing.
Manchester, UK-based venture capital firm Praetura Ventures made
five new hires to join its team of investment experts, including
GC Angels’ Jessica Jackson. Jackson is an investment manager.
Prior to joining GC Angels in December 2018, Jackson worked in
healthcare technology with Emis Health and Evergreen Life,
gaining experience in M&A, start-up growth and angel
investment.
Other hires were Grace Sanderson and Michael Rees, who joined the
team as investment executives. The firm also recruited two new
graduates as investment associates. Emily Bourne graduated with a
linguistics degree from the University of Oxford this summer,
where she also gained experience with a year abroad at
Paris-based VC Partech. Stefano Smith graduated from the
University of Dundee in 2020, and has spent 18 months as a
trainee financial planner at Forth Capital.
Robeco appointed Alexander Preininger as global head of sales and
marketing and a member of the executive committee. She joined
from Amundi, where she was global head of institutional clients
coverage.
BNP Paribas Wealth Management appointed Christian Gibot as chief
executive of its Luxembourg and international markets, subject to
the approval of national and European regulatory authorities.
Luxembourg-based Gibot runs international market sites: Germany,
Luxembourg, the Middle East, Monaco, the Netherlands, Spain and
Switzerland. Most recently, Gibot was CEO of Cardif Lux Vie in
Luxembourg. He joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2015 as head of
actuarial savings and ALM for BNP Paribas Cardif.
Hogan Lovells appointed finance and fintech partner Bryony Widdup
to join its corporate and finance practice group, based in the
London office. Widdup advises funds, lending platforms, digital
assets and blockchain-based offerings on their fundraising
solutions. Widdup worked within a major European bank as
well as in private practice, most recently as a partner at DLA
Piper.
MetLife Investment Management, the institutional asset management
business of MetLife, named René Zeidan as a director in its
institutional client group. Zeidan is based in Frankfurt.
Objectway, the European banking, wealth and asset management
software provider, appointed Hassan Suffyan as managing director
of Objectway for the UK region. Suffyan has more than 10 years’
wealth, and private banking experience. Before Objectway, he was
head of the wealth technology practice for Ernst & Young
UK.
Paris-based Rothschild & Co announced that David de Rothschild
would become honorary chairman of its supervisory board with
effect from 1 January 2023. Marc-Olivier Laurent, previously a
vice chairman of the the firm's supervisory board, was slated to
succeed him as chairman of the supervisory board of Rothschild &
Co. Laurent was previously managing partner of Rothschild & Co
Gestion, a member of the Rothschild & Co group executive
committee and executive chairman of merchant banking – a business
he co-founded with Alexandre de Rothschild in 2009 and headed
until 2019. He joined Rothschild & Co in 1993 as a managing
director and was appointed partner in 1995.
Neuberger Berman, the US investment house, hired Niall O’Sullivan
for a newly-created role as chief investment officer, multi-asset
strategies, Europe, Middle East and Africa. O’Sullivan is based
in London and Dublin and reports to Erik Knutzen, multi-asset
chief investment officer, and Doug Kramer, head of institutional
equity and multi-asset class and locally to Dik van Lomwel, head
of EMEA and Latin America. O’Sullivan has more than 25 years of
experience managing investment portfolios and programmes
globally.
Ocorian, a specialist in corporate and fiduciary services, fund
administration and capital markets, promoted Michael Betley to
global head of private clients to focus on growth. He is based in
Guernsey and succeeds Nick Cawley who is moving to a
newly-created role in the business. Betley joined Ocorian in
November 2021 when it acquired Trust Corporation International
which he founded in 2003.
Stanhope Capital Group appointed James Lawlor as partner and head
of real estate for the group. Eric Vu Anh was also appointed as
investment manager, senior associate. Lawlor had worked at Aviva
Investors, where he was an investment director, responsible for
reshaping the firm’s real estate portfolio. Eric Vu Anh joined
from Cortland, where he was responsible for investment analysis,
transactions, and treasury management of the firm’s European
platform. Prior to this, he was at BCCAP Capital, Urban Exposure
and BNP Paribas.
Constantine Law, an employment and regulatory specialist law
firm, recruited Nicola O’Connor to join the firm. O’Connor joined
from international firm, Bird & Bird, bringing with her over 20
years of experience advising senior professionals and corporates
in relation to financial crime offences and risk management.
Pictet Group said that one managing partner had retired and moved
to the supervisory board, and a new managing partner was
appointed to start on 1 May 2023. Rémy Best stepped down from the
partnership after a quarter of a century at Pictet. Sven
Holstenson became the 46th managing partner in the 217-year
history of the firm. Best joined Pictet in 1997 and has been
a managing partner since 2003. Holstenson has been with Pictet
since 2012.
Lombard Investment Managers appointed George Guest as sales
director in the UK Wholesale team. He is based in London and
reports to Selina Tyler, head of UK Wholesale. Guest joined from
Impax Asset Management, where he gained in-depth knowledge of the
sustainable investment industry.
Stonehage Fleming appointed Stefan Flachsmann in the
newly-created role of group head of financial services. He
was previously from Swiss bank UBS.
Global investor services group IQ-EQ promoted Guernsey-based
Alasdair McLaren to the newly-created position of regional head
of private wealth for the UK, Ireland, and Crown Dependencies.
McLaren has been chair of the Society of Trust & Estate
Practitioners Guernsey branch, a member of the global STEP
Council and a committee member of the Guernsey Association of
Trustees. He has worked in the sector for more than 30 years.
Lennertz, the Hamburg-based family office and wealth management
group, hired Torsten Schlüter, Julia Stöcker and Katharina
Dittmer, three experts in regulatory issues and portfolio
management.
Deutsche Bank appointed former Citigroup senior figure Zeynep
Ozturk-Unlu as the chief investment officer for Europe Middle
East and Africa (EMEA ex Germany) for the private bank. The
overall CIO group is led by Christian Nolting.
Ozturk-Unlu joined in London from Citi where she spent 22 years
of her career, most recently in New York as head of capital
markets for the Americas, leading North America and Latin
America. Previously she was with Citi Private Bank in London as
EMEA capital markets head for fixed income.
Iván Basa, senior vice president at Lombard Odier's Madrid
office, became local managing director of the Swiss wealth
manager’s Spanish franchise, succeeding José Couret. Couret
remained within the group as senior banker and advisor.
Basa joined Lombard Odier in 2018 as a senior banker, and has 17
years’ experience serving high net worth clients within major
institutions including Credit Suisse and Barclays Wealth and
Investment Management. He reports to Stephen Kamp, head of
Southern Europe and Latin America for private clients, and
Stephane Herrmann, CEO of Lombard Odier (Europe) SA. Couret
joined Lombard Odier in 2008 when the firm opened its office in
Spain.
Hunters Law appointed Olivia Piercy as a partner in the family
department. Piercy joined from Bindmans, where she headed the
family department. As a domestic abuse specialist and advocate,
Piercy sits on Resolution’s Domestic Abuse Committee, and sits as
a member of Mr Justice Cobb’s Private Law Working Group.
Martin Currie, an equity specialist based in Edinburgh and part
of the Franklin Templeton group, promoted Ben Russon and Richard
Bullas to co-head of Martin Currie’s UK Equity team. Colin
Morton, Martin Currie’s head of UK Equities, is due to retire at
the end of 2022. Russon and Bullas report to Michael Browne,
global head of investment strategy and oversight at Martin
Currie.
Asia-Pacific
Pictet appointed Victor Aerni – who is head of its wealth

Natixis Investment Managers appointed former Franklin Templeton figure Dora Seow as CEO for its business in Singapore. Seow is based in Singapore and reports to Fabrice Chemouny, head of Asia-Pacific. Seow succeeded Madeline Ho who left the firm to pursue other opportunities. At Franklin Templeton, Seow worked for more than 20 years in a variety of roles, most recently as country head for Singapore.
UBS welcomed Sheryl Fofaria back to its fold as its new head of social impact and philanthropy for Southeast Asia. Fofaria has 18 years of experience spanning philanthropy and finance. Prior to joining UBS, she led JP Morgan’s Philanthropy Centre in Europe, the Middle East & Africa, advising wealth management clients on using philanthropy strategically to address social and environmental issues. Forfaria, who is based in Singapore, reports directly to Tom Hall, UBS global head social impact and philanthropy. For local supervision, she reports to Dino Rinaldi, co-head APAC A&S and client services.
First Sentier Investors appointed Miranda Poon as director, institutional business, in the North Asia distribution team. Based in Hong Kong, Poon reports to Lauren Prendiville, managing director and head of distribution, Asia.
Indosuez Wealth Management appointed Ong Yeng Fang as South-East Asia global market head and Rosemarie Chong as UHNWI and Wealth Partnership market head, both based in its Singapore branch. Yeng Fang, who has regional experience in wealth management, business development, corporate and strategic planning, leads the South-East Asia market. Prior to joining Indosuez, she was managing director and head of UOB Private Bank for eight years.
Chong heads the newly-established Ultra High Net Worth Individuals & Wealth Partnership team in partnership with Edward Hsu, managing director at Indosuez, Singapore. Before Indosuez, she was managing director of BCV Investment Asia, a Singapore-based Swiss fund management institution with core businesses in private wealth and asset management.
The Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand made a number of leadership changes:
-- Liam Mason, who is continuing as general counsel, was
appointed as executive director, evaluation and
oversight;
-- Paul Gregory was appointed to the role of ED, response and
enforcement, and Clare Bolingford was appointed as ED, regulatory
delivery;
-- James Greig (director of supervision) is supporting his
current team in the transition to the FMA’s new structure;
-- Brad Edley, who has been chief operating officer at the FMA
for six years, left the organisation; and
-- John Boticas is serving as interim COO in addition to his
current role.
HSBC Global Private Banking appointed Sharnika Silva as head of Trust and Fiduciary Services, Southeast Asia. Silva reports to Brent York, global head of TFS, on a functional basis, and to Philip Kunz, head of GPB South Asia, on an entity basis. She is based in Singapore and has worked at HSBC Trustee for more than 15 years. She held a number of leadership posts, most recently as a Trust Relationship Management team head, in addition to her role as resident manager and director of HSBC Trustee since 2017.
Citigroup appointed Aditya Sharma as Asia head of custody following the move of Aashish Mishra to become the Asia TTS [treasury and trade solutions] financial institutions sales head earlier this year. Prior to this, Sharma was head of securities services for South Asia (India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), which he managed for the last four years. He has worked at the US bank for 19 years in a variety of roles.
Jersey Finance appointed Yiow Chong Tan as business development director for Southeast Asia. He is based in Singapore. Tan has business and corporate finance experience in the Asian markets where he has been involved in the origination, marketing, structuring, negotiation, due diligence and execution of private equity, stock exchange listings and M&A deals across Singapore and Malaysia.
In a previous role, he built working relationships with Chinese
high net worth clients and institutional investors to secure and
raise funds for mandated clients.
HSBC Asset Management appointed Victoria Sharpe as head of real
assets, and Scott McClurg as head of private credit for its
alternatives division, HSBC Alternatives. Sharpe is based in
Singapore and McClurg is based in London.
Sharpe will be responsible for the strategic development and management of the real assets proposition which consists of direct real estate teams and listed infrastructure equity teams. She took on the role from Joanna Munro, who has been acting head of real assets, in addition to her role as CEO, HSBC Alternatives. Sharpe, who reports to Munro, joined the firm in 2021 as head of and chief investment officer for real estate, Asia-Pacific. She retains these responsibilities in her expanded role,
Prior to HSBC, Sharpe was responsible for building and leading the Asia-Pacific real estate business for DWS. Before DWS, she spent 16 years with the global investment management firm PGIM (formerly Prudential Investment Management), as head of real estate, Asia-Pacific.
Citigroup appointed Vicky Kong as consumer business manager for Citibank Hong Kong and chief executive of Citibank Hong Kong. She reports to Angel Ng, head of Asia, Citi Global Wealth, and Aveline San, chief executive officer for Citi Hong Kong and Macau.
UBS Global Wealth Management appointed both Desiree Lam and Dabby Leung as market team head for Global Family and Institutional Wealth in Hong Kong. Lam, who replaced Bryce Wan, first joined UBS from Goldman Sachs in 2013, where she headed up the Wealth Management Structured Credit Team for North Asia until 2017. Subsequently, she moved to HSBC Private Bank as regional head of Credit Advisory.
Leung started her career working in corporate banking at Citibank and subsequently moved to Credit Suisse as a senior client partner covering the UHNW Hong Kong market for 15 years.
Calastone, a global funds network, appointed Ross Fox as managing director of the Asia-Pacific region to lead Calastone’s business expansion there and to launch its regional headquarters in Singapore. Fox relocated to Singapore from Sydney where he was previously responsible for managing Calastone’s Australia business. With more than 15 years of experience working across the asset management industry, Ross leads Calastone’s strategy and business expansion in the APAC region.
UBP appointed Alania Hsu Concepcion and Priscilla Wuersch-Ng to join its partner advisory team in South Asia. Hsu Concepcion joined UBP as head of partner advisory, South Asia. Based in Singapore, she reports regionally to Edouard Hoepffner, head of investment services Asia, and globally to Philippe Henry, global head of advisory.
Concepcion's role is a new one at the Geneva-based bank. During her international career spanning over 20 years, Concepcion has held a number of senior positions across global markets and wealth management. She was the co-head of private banking coverage in Asia for Barclays Global Markets for seven years, as well as the head of investment consulting for the Singapore and Malaysia markets at Credit Suisse.
North America
UBS Wealth Management USA appointed Michael Nazarian as a
financial advisor and managing director at its branch in Sherman
Oaks, California. Nazarian has over 20 years of experience
providing families and business owners with investment, liability
management, risk management and estate planning services. Prior
to joining UBS, he spent 14 years as a financial advisor at Wells
Fargo. Previously, he worked at Citi Smith Barney after starting
his career in real estate.
Cresset, the US wealth management house, appointed Adwoa Mograbi as chief people officer. Mograbi, who is also executive managing director, has more than 20 years of experience in human resources leadership, strategy, and talent management, with an industry focus on banking, capital markets, technology, and high-growth entrepreneurial environments. Prior to the new role, Mograbi served as chief human resources officer of the Federal Home Loan Banks Office of Finance. Mograbi took over from Mary Ceas, MD of human resources, who earlier this year announced that she planned to retire.
Neuberger Berman, the investment house, appointed Eric Karlson as portfolio manager and managing director. Karlson joined from AIG, where he served as MD and led private ABS and structured transactions.
Angeles Wealth Management appointed Morris Clothier as managing director, capital markets and wealth advisory. Clothier operates from the firm’s office in New York. Before joining Angeles, Clothier was an advisor at Lexington Partners, the manager of secondary private equity and co-investment funds. PwC appointed Eric Janson as global private equity, real assets and sovereign funds leader in the US. He took over from Will Jackson-Moore, who was appointed PwC’s global ESG leader.

Son, based in FTNE’s Manchester office, joined after practicing law in New York City, where she provided sophisticated estate and tax planning advice and trustee services for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
Impax Asset Management appointed Charlie Donovan as senior economic advisor. Donovan is based in Seattle, where he remains visiting professor of sustainable finance at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
Summit Financial, a registered investment advisory firm, appointed former CAPTRUST chief investment officer Kevin Barry in the same role. Barry has more than 25 years of experience in investment management. His market insights have been featured on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other leading broadcast media outlets. Barry replaced interim-CIO Steve Weinman.
Baird, the US wealth management group, added The Scott Park Group to its wealth management office in Oak Brook, Illinois. The two-person team, which came to Baird from Wintrust, includes Scott Park and Aimee Morrin. They serve as financial advisors. The team oversees over $298 million in assets under management.
Ameriprise Financial appointed former Morgan Stanley figure Kim Garrison in Springfield, Missouri. Garrison operates from a branch office recently opened in her area, led by Ameriprise branch manager Michael Brun and supported by regional vice president Brian Mora. The team also includes Paula Schnoebelen, registered client service associate, who joined Ameriprise from MissionSquare Retirement. Schnoebelen has more than 25 years of experience in the sector.
Key Family Wealth, the multi-family office division of Key Private Bank, appointed Carey Spencer as national director of family governance and development services. Spencer is based in the firm’s Pepper Pike office in Ohio. He reports to Gary Poth, head of Key Family Wealth. Carey, who serves as a senior advisor and thought leader on strategies for preparing family members to responsibly manage generational wealth, has been with Key Private Bank for more than 30 years.
Alex Brown, a division of Raymond James, welcomed financial advisor Alejandro Bachmann in Miami, Florida. He joined from JP Morgan Private Bank.
Glenmede, a US-based investment and wealth management firm, appointed Bridgette Becker as relationship manager, wealth advisory. Becker reports to Michael Hickey, regional director of Glenmede’s Washington, DC office. Prior to joining Glenmede, Becker was an attorney at Baker Donelson, where she advised clients on trust and estate plans, estate administration and potential estate and fiduciary litigation matters.
Allspring Global Investments appointed John Moninger as head of US Distribution at its Boston office. He has decades of industry experience and joined from Eaton Vance, a part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he had been managing director of intermediary sales since 2012. Earlier in his career, Moninger held leadership posts at LPL Financial and UBS Financial Services.
Rockefeller Capital Management appointed Elaine Sillery, an advisor and financial planner, to join its Rockefeller Global Family Office in Saratoga Springs, New York. Previously, she was vice president at Ayco, part of Goldman Sachs, from 2015 to 2022, and a senior financial partner at the same firm from 2010 to 2015.
The firm also appointed industry veteran Eric Heaton as head of strategy and managing director. He served in senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank in a career spanning three decades.
Global business consulting firm Eisner Advisory Group, part of the EisnerAmper group, named senior figure Michael T Joy as partner-in-charge of the firm’s Long Island practice, which is based in Melville, New York. Joy is an audit partner who specializes in providing audit, review, and compilation services for closely held companies across a variety of industries.
Raymond James brought Minnesota-based Think Bank’s financial planning program to its financial institutions division. The team consists of five advisors and five associates.
The firm also welcomed financial advisor Amy Bush to Raymond James Financial Services – the firm’s independent advisor channel. Bush is based in Ingram, Texas. At Sage Investment Advice, Bush and client service associate Wendy Mieske advise clients including business owners, families, women investors, pre-retirees and retirees. Previously, Bush managed about $130 million in client assets at Edward Jones. Bush has nearly 30 years of industry experience since joining Edward Jones in 1993.
