Tilney Ramps Up Recruitment Efforts, Carves Out Two New Roles

Tilney is continuing to absorb new talent across the UK as part of an ongoing recruitment drive.

Recently rebranded Tilney Group has ramped up its recruitment drive with the addition of two newly created appointments to its business development team.

Morad Bhatti has joined the firm’s Glasgow office while its Liverpool unit has welcomed Eleanor Wotherspoon.

Bhatti joined from Verbatim Asset Management, where he worked as regional development manager, Scotland, for just under four years. Earlier in his career, he also spent stints with Barclays Wealth, Morgan Stanley and London & Colonial.

Wotherspoon previously worked at Smith & Williamson as a business development manager.

“As a result of increasing demand for Tilney’s investment services to the professional and independent financial advisor community we are delighted to welcome both Morad and Eleanor to the business development team, and will be looking to further expand the team with similar high standard candidates,” said Craig Wright, head of business development.

Tilney, formerly Tilney Bestinvest, is continuing to absorb new talent across the UK as part of an ongoing recruitment drive.

As reported earlier this week, the firm recently hired Tony Linnane as a financial planner to join its Chelmsford office.
