UBS Board Of Directors Member Stands Down

Sally Bott, a member of the UBS board of directors, will not stand for re-election at the UBS annual meeting on 28 April, the Zurich-listed banking and wealth management firm said today.

The bank said it will say in due course if it is to nominate an additional candidate for election to the board as a result of Bott’s decision to leave it. She is making the move to pursue other endeavours, UBS said in a statement.

She was was elected to the board the October 2008 extraordinary general meeting and chairs the human resources and compensation committee, a key role given how remuneration of bankers has become a hot political as well as business issue in recent years.
