US Bank's High Net Worth Unit Promotes Regional Wealth Planner

The Private Client Reserve of US Bank has promoted Matt Ellison to regional wealth planner for Kentucky, Tennessee and Cleveland and Columbus, OH.
Reporting to Steve Cook, market leader of the PCR, Ellison will work with high net worth individuals and families, with a focus on entertainment and professional sports clients.
Ellison has over 20 years of trust, financial planning and investment management experience. He joined US Bank in 2011 as a wealth management advisor. Previously, he was head of trust and wealth planning at Royal Bank of Canada and has held similar positions at AmSouth Bank, the firm said.
In related news, earlier this week City National Bank hired Raymond DeRiggi as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager within its entertainment team in New York.
The appointments of Ellis and DeRiggi demonstrate the need for wealth management firms to cater to HNW individuals with specialized needs, due to demanding professions and/or unusual earning profiles.
US Bank’s Private Client Reserve serves clients with at least $1 million in investible assets.
