US Financial Services Group Names Wealth Management Chief

US financial services firm KeyCorp has appointed Timothy Lathe as executive vice president and head of its wealth management group.

In overseeing KeyCorp’s wealth management group, Mr Lathe focuses on two principal businesses: Key Private Bank and Key Wealth Management.

Mr Lathe had spent the majority of his career with National City Corporation, holding a number of senior roles - most recently being executive vice president and head of the private client group.

“[Mr Lathe] is ideally suited to lead implementation of our wealth strategy and work closely with Key Community Banking leaders to integrate these strategies into their marketplace activities," said Beth Mooney, KeyCorp vice chair and head of Key Community Banking.

KeyCorp, which is based in Cleveland, Ohio, has assets of $105 billion. While the firm focuses primarily on providing investment management, commercial and investment banking services to its domestic market, it also serves certain international businesses.
