Washington Trust has hired Ann Nagle as vice president and trust officer of its wealth management area's new group insurance trust division, to provide trustee services for all types of group insurance trusts, including multiple employer trusts, association trusts, and annuity trusts.

Nagle will be responsible for the development and management of the division, including new business, trust administration, strategic planning, as well as development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Nagle joins from BankNewport in Middletown, RI, where she was vice president and manager, group insurance trusts.

Washington Trust Wealth Management is a division of Washington Trust Company, itself a subsidiary of Washington Trust Bancorp. With almost $4 billion in assets under management and administration, WTWM is the largest wealth management firm in Rhode Island with offices in Providence, Westerly, and Narragansett, Rhode Island and Wellesley, Massachusetts.
