Webster To Open New Connecticut Private Banking Branch

Waterbury, CT-based Webster Bank is opening its new private banking office in Greenwich, CT, tomorrow.

The launch will be hosted by Jerry Plush, president and chief operating officer; Dan FitzPatrick, executive vice president of private banking; David Rabin, branch manager, and others involved in setting up the office.

Webster confirmed details of the dedicated private banking branch to Family Wealth Report in May last year, saying it would serve the “millionaire next door”. This refers to the high net worth market that falls “just below the threshold of the industry leaders,” Glenn MacInnes, Webster executive vice president and chief financial officer, told the Deutsche Bank 2012 Global Financial Services Investor Conference earlier that month.

Webster Private Bank serves HNW individuals, businesses and non-profits with at least $1 million in investable assets. The firm has over 50 private banking employees with seven relationship managers working in regional teams across New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
