Wells Fargo Adds Vice President, Private Banker

Wells Fargo Private Bank, part of New York-listed Wells Fargo, has added a vice president and private banker at its Thirteenth Street office in Columbus, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports.

Douglas Bryant takes up the position after spending five years as a business banking relationship manager at Wachovia Bank, the publication reports.

Wachovia Bank was taken over by Wells Fargo in 2008, but continues to operate under its own brand name.

As reported by FamilyWealthReport at the time, at the beginning of this month Wells Fargo, which has around 15,000 advisors and $1.2 trillion in assets, said it has a long-term goal of adding 10,000 advisors to its wealth management unit over time.
