Wells Fargo Moves And Hires Into Multi-Family Office

San Francisco-based Wells Fargo's Family Wealth business has named Patricia Armstrong head of Family Dynamics, expanding its multi-generational wealth management capabilities.

The multi-family office unit serves families with wealth in excess of $100 million and a minimum of $50 million in liquid assets.

Ms Armstrong was human resources director for Wells Fargo Wealth Management, having joined Wells Fargo in 1990. She has held several management roles within the corporate human resources organisation.

Arne Boudewyn has also joined the Family Dynamics team as a family wealth consultant to promote communication and financial literacy for future generations and assist with clarifying family values and legacies for sustainable wealth. He was vice president for Wells Fargo Corporate Human Resources, responsible for managing various human resource customer service and consulting groups.

Additionally, the company has hired Mary Mewha as regional managing director and Kevin Long as wealth consultant, focused on new client development.

Ms Mewha rejoins the company as the new regional managing director for Family Wealth. Based in San Francisco, she will be responsible for growing and managing the business for the Northern California, Mountain Northwest and Southern regions. Before returning to Wells Fargo, she was the head of family wealth at First Republic Bank and held executive positions at US Trust. She first joined Wells Fargo in 1991.

Mr Long joins the Wells Fargo Family Wealth team as a dedicated wealth management consultant and will focus on identifying and developing new clients within the Western markets. He was with Wells Fargo Private Bank, and also held executive positions at News Corporation and Disney.
