Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – EQ Investors, Fintilect, Kreston Global

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and selected international jurisdictions.

EQ Investors
EQ Investors, a B Corp wealth manager, has appointed Alistair Yeoman as business development manager.

Yeoman will help support expansion of the firm’s discretionary fund management business with a growing emphasis on its custom model solutions. The sustainable DFM team at EQ works with over 300 IFA firms and networks across the country.

Yeoman, who has more than eight years’ investment experience, joins from Momentum Global Investment Management where he was distribution development manager. He will be based in London, and report to sales director, Matt Hardy.

“He [Yeoman] knows the market extremely well and is ideally placed to promote our excellent range of sustainable adviser solutions, including our managed portfolio service,” Sophie Kennedy, joint-CEO at EQ, said.

EQ has also promoted Tertius Bonnin to co-portfolio manager of its suite of sustainable portfolios with immediate effect. Tertius has been with EQ since 2016 and is a CFA charterholder.

Fintilect
Fintilect, an AI-powered digital banking provider working with other financial organisations worldwide, has appointed Lindsay Soergel as CEO.

She takes over from interim CEO, Rami Cassis, who becomes Fintilect’s chairman. Cassis is founder and CEO of Parabellum Investments, his family office, which owns Fintilect as one of its portfolio companies.

Soergel has more than 25 years’ experience as a senior technology delivery and customer operations executive in banking and fintech, and cross-industry e-commerce and data-driven marketing innovation.

Soergel recently served as a specialist fintech go-to-market executive consultant, before which she led the product, marketing, and customer experience delivery teams at Kasisto, a conversational and generative AI company. She has also held senior executive positions in charge of product, service delivery, customer operations, and marketing at NCR, PNC, SunTrust (now Truist) and Ratio, and as a general manager and P&L owner at Headspace, Deluxe and Equifax.

An early B2B e-commerce and web technology pioneer, Soergal was instrumental in building online knowledge networks for the US Department of Defense and designing some of the earliest B2B e-commerce systems in the US.

Kreston Global
Kreston Global, an international accountancy network, has appointed Sharon Omer-Kaye (partner, James Cowper Kreston) as chair to the Global Private Client Services (GPCS) group.

Omer-Kaye (pictured) has experience in the private client field both technically and at a leadership level. She has qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser, and is a member of the global Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Leading the private client and global mobility team at James Cowper Kreston, Omer-Kaye will bring that experience to the new global group, leading other international private client specialists and wider tax teams to help elevate the network’s offering, the firm said in a statement.

“She brings a wealth of experience in steering private client teams and, on an individual level, has demonstrated a keen commitment to client service throughout her career,” Liza Robbins, chief executive at Kreston Global said.
